Galbi-Marinated Tri-Tip

Tri-tip that has been marinated in a Korean galbi marinade along with oi muchim (marinated cucumber) are what the kids are having for lunch today.  Also in the box is white rice with some Pokemon nori cutouts.  In a small separate container, there are some fresh whole apricots and a small packet of furikake.

We must have been on the same wavelength because I made oi muchim for the picnic today. I never know what cut of beef to buy at a regular market for Korean marinade. I'll have to try tri-tip. Looks good!

I actually chopped the tri-tip up like carne asada and made Korean tacos! But corn tortillas don't taste good cold, so I packed it with rice for the kids lunches. The boxes came back empty so they approved.

Hi just happened to come across your blog in Google, nice to meet you. The beef looks amazing, where did you buy the marinade?

I don't know any word that will describe how mouth watery the photo is. LoL If you wont mind I'd love to guide Foodista readers to your post. Just add the foodista widget to the end of this post so it will appear in the Foodista pages and it's all set, Thanks!
