Meat Pie Bento

This morning I made mini meat pies. They are perfect for bento lunches.


I make several variations of this pie. This morning I made them with BBQ pork. There are some baby carrots, broccoli, and a "checkerboard" apple slice.

The kids ate a couple of the pies for breakfast too and they loved them. I will post the recipe on the recipe blog soon.

Yum, yum, yum! I don't know what it is, but wrap pastry around meat filling and suddenly it's 100 times better than the meat was alone! ;)

Your meat pie looks good. At first, I thought it was something you bought. I hope it's super easy to make because I can screw up anything!

akm, this recipe is sooo easy. I use refrigerated pie crust, so the only work involved is the filling, and that can be made ahead of time:) It's also good at room temp which makes it ideal for lunches.
